Reggie Jackson did a little bit of everything, scoring 25 points, grabbing five rebounds, dishing out four assists and coming up with two steals.

Head coach Steve Donahue played a zone against North Carolina because they had struggled against it all season, but that wasn’t the story against Boston College.

You don’t want to start going backwards at this time of the year, and the Eagles are drifting closer to the bubble.

The Eagles trailed by nine at halftime and let the game slip away even further as Duke rained down three’s.

They had absolutely no answer for guards Nolan Smith and Seth Curry, who combined for almost 50 points.

Joe Trapani lead the Eagles with 14 points and 11 rebounds, but it wasn’t near enough to topple Duke.

A win would have vaulted the Eagles into sole possession of first place in the ACC, which would have been a shock to say the least.

Boston College got off to a quick start with a touchdown, but then saw Nevada put three unanswered scores on the board.

The Eagles trailed by 10 at halftime and never saw the lead again, getting as close as seven in the fourth quarter.

They managed just 185 yards of total offense and turned the ball over twice.

The loss snapped a five-game win streak for the Eagles and kept them from reaching eight victories on the year.

Spaziani, who was an assistant coach before taking over as head coach, was given a two-year extension.

He went 8-5 this year, bringing his record to 16-10 in two seasons as the Eagles head coach.

The team is currently preparing to take on Nevada in the Kraft Hunger Fight bowl in San Francisco.

The school is very pleased with the programs progress under Spaziani, who was appreciative of the extension.

Boston College trailed 24-7 at one point in the second half but never gave in and had a chance to tie or win at the end.

The Eagles played good defense throughout the game but did have trouble defending throws down the field.

Running back Montel Harris was virtually the only offensive weapon for the Eagles, but he coughed up a key fumble.

It’s been a tough season for head coach Frank Spaziani and his team, and it doesn’t look like things will get better anytime soon.

The Eagles jumped out to an early lead thanks to some big plays and strong running from Montel Harris.

Harris finished the game with nearly 200 yards on the ground and put a real scare into the Seminoles and their fans.

In the end, the Eagles simply didn’t have the quarterback to make enough plays on the road to win the game.

It’s a frustrating loss for Boston College, but they rebounded well and made progress after last week’s ugly loss.

Trainers initially told Herzlich that he would be fine and could have played if it was near the end of the season.

However, the injury appears to be much more significant than first thought and will keep him out for awhile longer.

Herzlich said he is itching to get back out on the field and is confident that he will play in the September 4 opener.

The linebacker did beat cancer last year, so I’m sure a broken foot won’t dampen his spirits too much.
