The Boston College Eagles got back on track with a stunning, 75-69 win over the No. 21 Clemson Tigers.
Boston College got off to a sluggish start, and it looked like another ugly loss upcoming for the Eagles.
However, they were finally able to get something going and raced out to a 17-point halftime lead.
In the second half, it was all about trying to protect that lead, especially as Clemson made a strong run down the stretch.
Reggie Jackson led the Eagles with 18 points and Corey Raji added 14.

The Boston Colleges Eagles followed a similar script to the one they did earlier in the week against Miami. But this time, the ending wasn’t a happy one.
The Eagles rallied from a double-digit second-half deficit to grab the lead late, but Virginia Tech’s Dorenzo Hudson scored with five seconds left to give the Hokies a 63-62 win.
Reggie Jackson scored a team-high 15 points for Boston College, but he was unable to get off a potential game-winning shot before time expired. The Eagles lost despite shooting 55 perfect from the field, compared to just 38 percent for the Hokies. But 19 turnovers by Boston College led to 17 more shot attempts by Virginia Tech, and ultimately led to the Eagles’ demise.

The Boston College Eagles hung tough for a half but eventually fell to the No. 11 Duke Blue Devils, 79-59.
Rakim Sanders, normally their top scorer, had just three points. Reggie Jackson led the team with 20 points.
The Eagles fell apart just minutes into the second half, as Duke’s defensive pressure overwhelmed them.
A three-point halftime deficit quickly grew into double-digits, forcing head coach Al Skinner to call two timeouts.
The timeouts did little to slow Duke’s defensive pressure or his team’s carelessness on offense, and the rout was on.

The Boston College Eagles fell behind by two touchdowns and rallied back, but it wasn’t enough in a 24-13 loss to the USC Trojans in the Emerald Bowl.
Boston College fell behind 14-0 early but then rallied back to pull within 1 at halftime. However, the Eagles could not get anything going offensively in the second half.
They had opportunities to put more points on the board, but gave them away. In one instance, the Eagles returned an interception inside the USC 10-yard line only to fumble the ball away two plays later.
Still, head coach Frank Spaziani has to be happy with the way his kids battled considering how many pundits thought that there was no way that the Eagles could keep up with the fast and flashy Trojans.
For the Eagles, playing in the Emerald Bowl was a fairly exciting and rewarding end to their season, unlike USC, which was certainly disappointed in the way things ended.
